What do you believe?

"What do you believe?" This question was asked of me just the other day, and I must admit that I didn't know what to say. You see, the question came from me. Out of no where, the thought came from a voice in my head, so I said, "I believe in God." That fact was the first thing that came to my mind, but it confused me to say the least, that my own mind would ask me such a thing, so I began to ask myself, "Why do I specifically believe in God?"

Only through a process of pondering these questions did it occur to me that there must be a difference between the human side of me and the being. I find that the human side holds my ego, but the being holds my soul, so it must have been the being in me that asked my human mind what I believed. How I came to see this reality, I don't know. Like I said, it came from a voice inside my head that said, "There has to be a reason we identify ourselves by the two words,"human,"and "being."

After that one thought entered my mind, the reason why I believe in God began to make more sense to me, because you see, the thought came from the being side of me. That's when I began to comprehend that deep inside we all believe God exists. We can believe it, but we don't always choose to see it. It's only when we begin to see that every human theory of creation has a bit of truth in it, so we need to find an open human mind. Even though with every theory, there seems to be something missing, I believe the missing link is the fact that what we derive from our human mind always comes from our being side. The human mind thinks, but the being speaks. It's a voice inside our head that says, "I know the truth about you."

Our being speaks through our subconsciousness, and tells us right from wrong, how to get along and which way to go when we come to a fork in the road. It's where God lives and how He exists. It makes sense of something that seemed impossible to me before I learned to listen to my being. The being in my soul just knows the truth, while my human mind needs proof. Maybe that's why God created you and I with two sides.

Suddenly, I've realized the truth that came to my brain through the force of my being. The source of this force inside of you and I is God, of course. That's why today I can honestly say that I believe that God is king of heaven, earth and everything within the universe, which He created to work for us, not against us. He created you and I in his image so that we can create things too. To do that, God gave us some tools
