To lose weight, have faith

Different approaches have been adapted in losing weight. Due to the influx of weight -reducing programs, sometimes you do not know which one to use. You should find that particular method that works for you. That method should be a program in which you believe in; something that you would be self-motivated to pursue.

If you have already tried the existing methods and failed, then perhaps adding faith to your method could make it work more successfully. Believing that you would be successful is one very significant step towards winning your "battle over the bulges". To be certain that your diet regimen and exercise would work, may make all the difference in the world.

You don't need to go down on your knees and "pray"' wishing for it in your mind is already "praying".

So how could you lose weight by having faith?

Here are simple steps to follow that could mean the solution to your weight reduction problem.

1. Before you start with the weight reduction program that you want to adapt, you must believe you can do it. Having faith in yourself and in what you can do is a good beginning. The clich' "What the mind can conceive the body can achieve, "is never outdated.

2. It is advisable to do breathing exercises in the morning to revitalize your body for the log day ahead of you.

Stand with your feet apart and your arms at your sides. You should be comfortable.

Close your eyes, take a deep breathe, hold it for a few seconds and then exhale deeply (with the air sound coming out, is better).

While you are doing this, get in touch with your inner self. Imagine this inner self getting in touch with a "higher being", someone greater than yourself. Most people call this supernatural being God. But whatever you call Him does not matter.

Imagine yourself reaching out, your "soul" lifting up to the heavens on a clear sunny day. Breathe in, breathe out. In and out.

Then picture in your mind how you would want to look like after your program. Do not entertain the thought that you will not be successful.

Remember that a greater power than yourself will help you achieve your goal. Reach out to him in your mind.

Keep in your mind the picture of this supernatural being lifting you above the mundane things you limit yourself to do. Picture Him reaching out to you with His encouraging hand. Feel that with Him you can do anything!

Do this every morning before any of your activity.

3. Don't give up if there are no visible results immediately. Things take time, be patient. Keep in mind that with spiritual and Divine intervention what is inhumanely impossible, like your being not able to reduce your weight, could be possible with the help of a higher spiritual force. Believe in this force and be successful in any of the weight reduction program that you adopt.

Weight gain and obesity are usually results of overeating and lack of activity. When you lack the motivation and the faith to diet and exercise then you will never overcome that problem.

Have great faith in yourself and get in touch with your higher spiritual self, and for sure you will succeed.
