I laughed and you
didn't understand but
I thought it was funny anyway
asking
how ironic is it that we can sit here
holding hands, staring at stars
swirling around energetically
[vastly cosmic]
and yet
[and yet.]
we were dying with every second.
but I'll smile anyway
I'll smile for you
because dying is a happy place to be in
when I get to be with you.
[let's live together
as long as we can.]
