Are you wanting to buy pajamas for a loved one and you're concerned about the matching your pajama choice to their personality? Don't worry because the pajamas don't make the person, the person makes the pajamas, so have fun and when in doubt buy something extra like a robe to go with a nightgown or pajama bottoms.

These are the different types of pajamas we own, and here is when we use them. We own flannel, footed, silk, lingerie and robes. Buying pajamas for someone else can be fun and a great way to express how well you know a loved one's comfort level. First off pajamas are all about comfort and secondly the only person you generally would buy pajamas for are someone you are comfortable with.

Men's, women's or kid's flannel pajamas are best used in the cozy winter months, especially for festive, informal family gatherings such as having Christmas breakfast with your closet relatives.

Kid's footed pajamas are perfect for those fast-footed toddlers, they not only keep their toes warm, but the extra material acts a barrier to potential hazards like slippery surfaces. Men's and woman's pajamas can be a great novelty gift for that kid-at-heart friend.

Women's silk pajamas feel soft and sensuous,but don't forget that Men's silk boxers are a great gift that says something extra. Silk pajamas can be worn year round and if it gets chilly then have a robe handy. Men's and women's robes make great neutral gifts for those who aren't so easy to buy for and the great thing about a robe is it makes a great additiona to anyone's wardrobe.

Women's lingerie is a must in my house. As a business woman I have many lingerie needs, from slips to girdles and hosiery that compliments every outfit. I also find that wearing lingerie as pajamas can be comfortable in the warmer months and also feels good against my skin.

Pajamas aren't just about function, but pajamas are also about form. If you feel good with the pajamas you have on, you will look good too. Pajamas make a great gift for anytime like Mother's or Father's Days, as well as romantic gifts for that special someone or for a special wedding gift. Have fun shopping for pajamas because the possibilities are endless!
