flakes" and "dust", but they are just as viable in energetic form as your entire body or that entire rock. And the exchange is far more refined than just that.
In the same way that the rock and I become "One", energetically, we all slough our energies onto each other, good and bad. We affect each other energetically with our feeling tones (moods, emotions) and mental constructs (thoughts). If I am mad at you, even if I "physically" keep it to myself and don't express it aloud, I am still exuding an angry energy at you that will affect your energy system. This has been scientifically proven through
Kirlian photography. Likewise, if I am thinking of my concept of the color blue or of a rock, you will pick up on that energy as well, thus, agreement is achieved upon the thing, in a cohesive environment where there is interaction, communication and common ground. In other words, we are channeling that information (energy) and we are sending messages back and forth in this manner constantly.
Following that short lesson on energy exchange, I'll get back to the question at hand. For those who observe, there are obviously some people who are bringing in some energy other than their own, which they are able to then communicate to others at a level of complexity and comprehension that surpasses their own natural everyday ability. Cases in point: the uncanny medical diagnoses and treatments offered through Edgar Cayce, the clear explanations of the true construct of reality channeled by an entity named "Seth" through Jane Roberts, and the far-reaching predictions for our present time and near future and world-assisting information channeled by an entity named "Kryon" through Lee Carroll. For me, that is nearly plenty of evidence to prove that channeling of spiritual sources is real enough. Of course, unless you have previously known the channel personally, it might be difficult to ascertain whether or not they are just "pretending" to be less astute in order to contrast against their "channeled" material. This is where the arts of wisdom and discernment come into play.
Those same observers, if honest with themselves, will also readily admit that there are clearly "fakes", "charlatans", and just plain "nuts" out there, selling their channeling services to whomever they can convince of their performance. There are LOTS of them, because channeling has gone from being a spiritual service to being a commodity in our society. Of course, in a system where everything has a price,
