Leather jackets for the casual motorcyclist or the full time Hells Angel.
So you've decided that it's time for you to own a leather biker jacket. Maybe you're in a biker gang, you just turned forty five, or you want to convince your boss's new secretary that you're not a dweeb.
Regardless, choosing the right cow skin armor to drape over your torso can be a little bit daunting. Have no fear. These are the different types of leather motorcycle and biker jackets we own, and this is how we use them.
Classic Top Grade Motorcycle Jacket - This is the most famous form of men's leather biker jacket.
It became very popular in the 1950s and has been featured in movies like Easy Rider and Back to the Future Part 2.
With this jacket, men will look more manly (which may lead to bar fights) and rebellious. Women will definitely look more sexy (which may also lead to bar fights). Great gift idea for Christmas and Bar Mitzvahs.
Padded Armored Motorcycle Jacket - This style of jacket is made with high grade leather and features pads on the shoulders, arms, and elbows for maximum protection. Many of these jackets come in a variety of colors, which is good if you want to match your bike. The bright colors allow you to be seen more easily at night. It is great for men and women in the form of a Father's Day gift, wedding gift, or a corporate bonus. This style also comes with several zippered pockets for easy access to your cell phone and condoms (the writer of this article does not condone talking on a cell phone or having sexual relations while riding a motorcycle).* Vented Cordura Jacket - The vented Cordura jacket is easy to get into and out of. It is form fitting without suffocating your body due to zipper vents in the front and back. It has a zippered front with an adjustable velcro strap on the sides for easy fit and comfort. The jacket is made from 100% Cordura for maximum durability and includes removable pads in the shoulders and back. Remember, women want you to buy them one of these for Valentines Day, they just won't tell you so. Since it isn't made from leather, you've just saved a cow's life and made Pamela Anderson very happy.
