Being a modern man I have come to realise the many differences that can be found in men's slippers. Gone are the days when one shoe fits all occasions. Now it is more like a men's slipper for every season. To assist those not yet up to date on which men's slipper fits best with which season here is a quick guide to see you through.

Flip-flops - the ultimate men's slipper for summer. Also known as thongs in some countries, these are a great water tolerant option for the warmer months. Perfect for beach holidays and around the house. Available in a wide range of colours. Flip-flops are a unique father's day gift that dad is sure to love.

Scuffs/open back - the dressy flip-flop. Generally crafted from leather or a durable rubber these are favoured for a spring BBQ or romantic walk. These men's slippers are easily slipped on and off.

Slip-on - for when laces are not needed. Another summer favourite and as the name suggests you can just slip them on. Great for casual outings and informal gatherings, as well as around the home as summer starts to fade.

Sheepskin - when all you need is warmth. These are fantastic to see you through the winter months. There are a range of men's slippers that are lined with sheepskin including booties and moccasins. They are a unique Christmas present for any man.

Moccasins - designed for comfort. Constructed from soft leather suede these men's slippers scream comfort and practacilty. Can be worn around the home or for casual outings. Available with sheepskin lining for the winter months.

Booties - the Moccasin with a higher ankle. The only real difference between booties and moccasins is that height of the ankle. Again these are ideal winter gifts.
