Alone
Why do I feel so alone
These daily activities
That usually bring me pleasure
Offer up no comfort
Who but you Lord
Can fill this bottomless pit
That echo in the empty canyons
Of my scorched heart
Fill me up with your everlasting love
Let your mercy and compassion
overwhelm me with peace
Quench my thirst this I pray
Help through the day
