When shame and guilt engullf your soul;
a burden you've allowed to take its toll
so controlling and powerful you could sacrifice your life;
to end the chaos created- your price.
There are levels of darkness that one can descend.
Becoming desensitized, numb, is the beginning to one's end.
A limit, be it vague, may may save your life.
Establishing such boundaries may save you from strife.
Thus positive thinking- a waking to reality;
is you saving grace- the gift of mortality!

Ashes To Ashes
Opaque words
Speak of risk
In, out, out, out
Fire be
Ashes to ashes
Ashes to Ashes
Fickle and timber
Glass bleeding
Sleep
