Back to the drawing board! Never in my 52 years of gracing this planet have I ever heard such rhetoric coming out of the political correctness peanut gang as law makers and Wall Street bankers wait for the other to make the next move so they can save the financial hub of the global economy from taking a nose dive straight down the proverbial tubes! Two weeks into the crisis with both the House and Senate nose to nose in the approval of the President's bailout plan number 2 with no real assurance in protecting American taxpayers while the Global Economy is in a grid lock! The whole world is staring the US in the face screaming bloody murder waiting for somebody to get up off of it before the crisis shuts the planet down and everybody starves to death. Everybody wants to point fingers and nobody wants to take responsibility for the screw up. Personally I say let the big wig CEO's of the financial sector fork out the money out of their pockets and repay the American people for their adolescence antics. Chalk up another bailout to put more tax burden on the middleclass at the tune of 700 billion dollars! Where is the accountability of the Wall Street gurus to the US Government and not to mention the tax payers? Where do they expect the money to come from? I'm not an expert on the economy no more than I'm Tinker Bell that can wave a magic wand and pull money out of thin air!
Tax payers are already footing the bill for the war on terrorism, hurricane Katrina in 2005 that almost completely wiped New Orleans off the map. Hurricane Ike flooded the entire Midwest and we still don't have an accurate monetary cost to the extent that the insurance companies have to fork out. Oops! I just remembered that the World's largest insurer AIG bit the dust at the beginning of this fiasco the government calls a crisis. No doubt the tax payers will pick up the tab! The middle class is already buried in debt up to their eyeballs! What will a couple of trillion dollars more hurt! The national debt already exceeds 10 trillion dollars! Here is something that was somehow overlooked or G-d forbid a simple oversight- the GNP (gross national product) is somewhere in the neighborhood of 6 trillion dollars a year in the US alone. In translation this figure is the products and services that the American people produce each year. The figure is not accurate but it is close and is intended to serve as an example that you cannot spend more than you make! Americans are not printing presses for the
