Poetry: Desperation

by Kimberlee Decunzo

Created on: October 01, 2008

From a vacant womb

no heartbeat no life

Where is the bond

no warmth no light

I reach for her hand

no touch no try

Not one care for me

no love no cries

I don't understand

no feelings no remorse

Why am I here then

no purpose no course

Nothing impresses her

no trophy no deed

Yet still I try

no distance no speed
