It is high time the American people get a fair shake. I see a lot of manipulation of stocks and politics which is entwined with power and greed. Money should not harbor only the rich. These well educated men who ran these companies knew what they were doing.
I can just imagine how many more soft palms will be held out for a bailout next. What about the worker whose hands are weathered and strong from hard labor. I find it a shame the poor give more than the wealthy.
Why not invest in the people? We as a nation know how to manufacture things, create things, and lend a hand but charity starts at home.
I figure they have just given more time for those CEO's to figure out how to save themselves by jiggling things around. If a small business goes under no one cries.
We need health care, education, better roads (not NAFTA roads), care for seniors who wish to remain at home instead of living in a prison of a nursing home where they are allowed $50.00 a month. I wonder how long a CEO could manage on that monthly amount.
The American people need to stand together and say "We have had enough!" Enough of wars, inconsiderate politicians that only want to feather their own nests, leaders who are led around like a pig with a ring through it's nose; from lobbyists, and high dollar bribes hidden under their desks.
Drugs dealers run the streets destroying lives, homeless live in boxes while thousands of boarded up homes sit empty, grocery and retail stores are filled to the brim with China products and they don't seem to care if it is tainted or not. Just read the labels-the proof is there.
When I was in France in 2003 (my first trip abroad) I was amazed at the quality of food (mostly organic), someone sick being able to get help without feeling guilty they had fell ill. I was treated with great kindness. I also saw kids learning English side by side with their native language. Their strong belief in preserving their historical buildings which had been there for centuries was easy to witness.
With NAFTA we will be destroying thousands of acres of futile farmland, displacing people from their homes no matter how many generations the families had lived there. I saw this massive start of pavement in Texas with my own eyes and then stumbled across a colossal amount of China freight cars.
I have also seen the I-69 in Indiana being built. It will be a hookup to Texas and part of NAFTA. I know what it looks like to look at an eminent domain sign taped to the side of a house the government
