When I first decided that I wanted an air guitar, I was a little reluctant to actually buy it. I mean I've never been musically talented in my life. I tried the flute, the alto saxophone, and the clarinet in high school. I was never able to get the hang of any of them. Twice I tried out for a choir in middle school where basically everyone who tried out made it. I didn't make it either time. Yet, when I saw that air guitar advertised online, I knew I "needed" it, and it "needed" me. Somehow I knew I'd be able to prove that my siblings hadn't gotten all the musical genes.

As I read about the air guitar, I knew it was perfect for me, but I still had that doubt. I'm not musically talented. Should I really spend my money to get this air guitar when I wasn't going to be able to play it? I asked my best friend Winifred for help deciding if I should bid on this air guitar. She quickly assured me that you don't have to have real music talent to be a genius on the air guitar. I trust her. She is my best friend, after all. So I put in my bid. Since I've never won before on eBay, I figured I wouldn't win this one either. I was surprised when I found out I had actually won. I was so excited that I had finally gotten something off of eBay. Of course, I did notice I was the only one to bid on the air guitar. I did find that a little strange, but I guess other people just must not know a good deal when they see one.

When I got the air guitar in the mail, I was even more excited. It looked twice as great in person as it did online. I got it out of the box, and right away I started playing it. Not to be all prideful about it, but I found that I could play the air guitar better than anyone else that I've ever met. Pretty soon, I was playing songs I didn't even know you could play on the air guitar. I decided I'd better go and show Winifred my air guitar. I was sure she was going to be jealous.

I walked in my room and looked in the mirror. I was shocked. I felt cheated. Winifred has not told me she was also purchasing an air guitar. Not only had she purchased one, but she had purchased the exact same model as me. I was angry. Pretty soon, the two of us started trying to outplay each other. Yet, we found that neither of us could beat the other. We were evenly matched. Instead, we decided to have a concert and just play some air guitar duets. She brought all her stuffed animals, I brought all mine, and we had a great show.

The person who sold me the air guitar said they felt the two of us worked so well together that he wants to work with me again. He said I was one of his best customers. He's offered me 100 one gallon packets of dehydrated water packets for only $25. That's a quarter a piece. I'm thinking that's a great deal. He said he's got other customers wanting this deal, but since I was such a great customer, he wants to give the chance to buy them first. I guess I'd better get going. I don't want to miss out on that deal.
