The right gloves are a thoughtful present suitable as gifts to men, women and children. I own a variety of gloves and love to give gloves as gifts for special occasions. These are the different types of gloves I own, and here is how I use each pair.

Winter - These bulky gloves are insulated, waterproof and warm even in the coldest weather. They are unisex and can be considered either a men's or women's glove. They keep my fingers safe from frostbite when shoveling in the heaviest snow storm.

Gardening - These sturdy canvas gloves are my gardening protection! They fend off thorns and bee stings while keeping my hands clean.

Fashionable Leather - I love my leather gloves. They glide over my fingers, hugging each movement in luxury. These gloves are soft and colorful. I select a unique color for each occasion. Red leather graces my hands on Christmas and Valentine's Day. I wear pale yellow to springtime weddings and graduations. Supple black leather is my choice for romantic anniversary dinners.

Cloth - My cloth gloves fit tightly to my hands. They allow me to use my fingers and are useful when I am out walking the dogs or carrying packages. I love that they are available in a variety of unusual patterns and colors.
