To Inspire
My thoughts swirl- My imagination floats-
The wind carries silence, which lends an ear.
Rain driblets dapple across the stony landscape,
smacking the rock with intention and might.
Leaves from tip-top branches sway and spit
dew droplets upon my shoulders- drip, trickle, drip.
Warmth glows on my back, as the sun shines
its sweetness through the boughs- Leaving shadows
to flicker at my feet, tirelessly.
Light clears my path, the way to my muse.
