"Where there is a Will there is a Way" I am personally offended by the thought of everyday citizens should solely take this on the chin. Number one this is not 100% consumer fault, but we are expected to pay for it! Several years back Texas passed a bill on taking caps off salaries for Government officials and the people under them. At the time I worked for a small school district and this impacted us greatly. I literally could not afford to work there another year!

I don't know technical stuff, but what I see is politics playing the blame game at our expense. I do not want my children to have to pay for the bailout! So heres a solution that might actually do something more than just a bailout.

First put caps back on Government salaries, then place the extra money into funds set aside for schools. Their greed short changed our school districts.

Second, when you think of our country's CEO's what comes to mind, another uncapped salary! They get to name their price and we have to pay it. This also goes for Big Mortgage Co. Just check out their bonuses! All of them could buy 2 large houses, and not feel any pain. So what it boils down to is while we worry about having a roof over our head, they don't even break a sweat over purchasing a weekend retreat house in Martha's Vineyard!

Third, has anyone taken into account most of our Big Business Corps are overseas? Has anyone thought about how this effects America. Ask yourself " How many workers lost their jobs due to Corporations deciding to move overseas?" No job stability, No money to pay mortgages. Bring back our Jobs. I mean how much money does American people have to pay to outside Countries just to purchase products, while our shipments to them sit out on a dock, and we charge them nothing! Lets put jobs back out there, and help families meet their mortgages!

So to sum it all up I don't think Americans are at fault here, it is a combination of Politics, and Big Corporations. The sad part is these people were voted in by Americans, but in the words of my "Dad" its a matter of voting for the "Lesser of the Evils" So when you hear "don't whine because you voted them in" You can always say " I voted for the lesser of two evils" Now if our "Officials" decide to actually give back to the American economy, instead of taking from it, Then America we " The Hard Workers" have won! The little things add up to Bigger things around the corner!
