The imagination of a writer reveals many things,
often times its just the chance to live a dream.
To see the birth of a story unfold,
then the work to be called, "The greatest story ever told",
is wonderful to see;
how this writers work becomes a part of history.
Funny they'll sometimes say,
"Oh how that writer made me laugh today"
His words race from one story to the next,
the stories of crime, drugs, and death.
A vigilante, a super hero, the battles in between,
is the chance for this writer to live out his child hood dreams.
The critics stand firm and sometimes say,
"That writer is no good he'll never get paid"
But most writers don't do it for fortune or fame,
they just do it for their souls and to keep their minds sane.

With no place to go in mind
I'd simply thought to move my feet
And sidewalk they would find
Occasionally
Imagination, is my home
Where I dwell all alone
It is where my mind subsist
It is where I really exist
Where I think
