I was standing in a valley not to long ago

Holding in my hand; I had nothing to show

My life was in shambles; my health not so great

I thought to myself; this must be fate

I looked all around; nothing seemed to be real

Wondering what its like to really, really feel

My life is a disaster; I thought to myself

Looking at the history; I put my life on a shelf

Searching for an answer everyday and night

I never thought to look toward the heavenly light

A stranger grabbed my hand and asked if I would go

I said I'm not sure; I really don't know

He said if your after fulfillment in your life

Getiing rid of pain, restlessness and strife

He exclaimed, come go with me

I know about a tree

It shines down from heaven; amazing I must say

Jesus wants you to choose whom you will serve this day

Your life has been hard; he described it to me

Before he was done I realized I could see

I saw all the glory shining from his face

He said you better stay on a straight and narrow pace

Amazing feelings were blasting inside of me

I knew for sure this must have been the tree the stranger described to me

I accepted with a tear running down my face

And knew; nothing else in life, I wouldn't have to chase

He told me its all over; the hurt and the pain

We all have to go through lifes pouring rain

He was so amazing; his love was running through me

I knew all along this was definitely the tree

The tree of life is standing knocking at our door

Waiting for the troubled, hurting and more

He waits for trials and shows up on time everyday

My God your amazing; what else can I say
