tick tick tick
the hands of an old clock
tick tick tick
a few more seconds
added to the history books
tick tick tick
closer to another sunset
closer to another sunrise
tick tick tick
just a little farther
from the beginning
tick tick tick
are you listening?
tick tick tick
you'll never get that back you know
tick tick tick
a second to a minute
a minute to an hour
an hour to a day
tick tick tick
are you satisfied?
tick tick tick
won't be long now
your time will come, won't it?
tick tick tick
it must all mean something
in the end
tick tick tick
another cup of coffee
decaf. please, so i can sleep
so i can wake tomarrow
and do this all over again
tick tick tick
faster faster, no time to lose
tick tick tick
maybe i'll just see whats on the television
tick tick tick
an hour later-
still flipping through the channels
tick tick tick
don't you see?
tick tick tick
is this annoying yet?
tick tick tick
time is running out
tick tick tick
after all,
how big can the hourglass be?
tick tick tick
someday the clock will stop
tick tick tick
will you be satisfied then?

Who has got the time to think?
There are dishes in the sink
And laundry on the brink
Of becoming quite a
I reflect on memories of the past
I realize there is no time
To absently waste our tomorrows
To look for what we can not find
Knowing
EPIC GLORY
There is no time
for the mind
to whisper in silence
crouched
in anticipation
for flight
and to do
what no man
