Abortion is a very touchy and difficult subject to broach,so many people have so many opinions on the subject, human rights campaigners, people who they themselves have found themselves facing the dilemma and having to make a very difficult moral and personal descision. There was at one time as a teenager I grew up and my opinion of it was dead set and to me it was technically murder, nowadays a hold a very different opinion. What of the women who have been subjected to rape case? Or sexual abuse, And the women were left pregnant as a result? would you really force a women to continue with the pregnancy? how is that going to bear on the women for one? and the child itself for another? how isthat child going to feel when it is grown enough to ask where they came from? how is the child going to feel when it finds out they came about from a very traumatic and painful incident experienced by their parent, and how is the relationship betweeen the parent and child going to be affected by it. I wouldnt say I agree with it wholly but I do believe women should have the choice in whether or not to continue with the pregnancy,it is after all the woman who carries the child it is her body and mind that is affected by it the most, and it is her that requires to go through the whole birthing process no-one else,so to be honest what right does anyone else have to influence or pressure any women into making the decision as to whether or not to carry on with the pregnancy, she is after all her own person. Mistakes and errors are made, nobody is perfect. The lack of understanding and knowledge and education in some cultures and in teenagers is also a factor as to why woman should have the right to choose abortion. Health issues and complications during pregnancy or as a result of pregnancy are also an issue, health problems or terminal medical illness or issues with the baby itself also play a major role in whether a pregnancy should be allowed to continue, it may bedangerous for both mother and child if allowed to go ahead. If serious health issues such as downs are detected during pregnancy with the baby perhaps the parents would find it difficult to cope with the child and the childs quality of life,it doesnt make the parents terrible people what it comes down to is the strength of character of those individuals. would there be any viable reason as to continue with a pregnancy if the child has resulted in error of judgement, what kind of life is an unwanted child going to lead?
