Money can't make a person happy only people themselves can. You can be wealthy and still be miserable or you can be poor and perfectly content. Since everyone has their own set of values and expectations, happiness has different meanings for different people.

If someone is born into a world of modesty and grows up feeling satisfied and happy with their lives, they will never miss the supposed advantages or traps associated with having greater wealth. They may see others and wonder what it would be like but if they are comfortable with themselves they will have no regrets.

Someone born into a world of privelege can still grow up feeling very needy. Not only from an emotional standpoint but from the never ending cycle of needing more to feel good. The cycle for many never ends because as you acquire more it actually has less meaning, requiring you to need more in an attempt to feel good.

Then there are those people who are willing to give back out of love for others. Some with a lot and some with a little who achieve happiness by giving to others who may be in need. These people can come from varied backgrounds in life but share a similar philosophy with respect to money and what it can do when used in a positive way.
