My Pain
The ache, the pound, the tear of my heart
where can I find truth even in part?
I feel betrayed, stepped on, lied to
without God I simply would not make it through,
but thank God, thank His never ending grace
He made a way He took my place.
no longer does it hurt or pain me so
and God has a plan this I know
for God through me will touch more this way
and keep the pain and grief at bay.
so now the end of my pain has passed
soundly I can sleep at last
