The multiracial society

THIS I BELIEVE

The United States of America and world would be and become better places if its primary human-relations paradigm was shifted from supremacy and exploitationto how can we help, serve, and preserve our humanity. Implicit in capitalism is subjugate and exploitive human-relations, and generates class, culture, race, and gender stratifications. These forced stratifications are many in the USA because of its diverse immigrant legacy. This engenders rich and poor black, white, brown, yellow, red, and gender conflicts and strife over the unequal distribution of opportunities for acquiring material wealth and success.

We all know the international history of the oldest military strategy of divide and conquer, and can cite best-case scenarios. Victories such as these are seldom pure victories because of the residual consequences that result from collateral damage. It is the difference between being assertive and being aggressive; aggressiveness leaves dead bodies all around figuratively and literally. These figurative and literal dead bodies have direct and indirect relatives, who may just identify or connect to the collateral damage cause because of class, race, culture, or gender.

Just look at how long we have struggled with race (Native Americans, African Americans, Chinese, Japanese, etc.) in the USA, and how much ground we have lost in terms of productivity. The social and economic costs are astronomicaleven if you only consider the litigation costs. Those who marginalize and eliminate their completion are dooming themselves and their country to failure because they and their country don't have to be the best they can be. History is replete with profound examples of this such as the fall of the Roman and Greek Empires. Alexander the Great was not so great in the end.

As Abraham Lincoln succinctly expressed it, "a house divided cannot stand." We have lost and will continue to lose our synergistic potential in regard to the gross domestic and national, and international marketplaces. Class, culture, race, and gender stratifications should not be allowed to flourish, and should not be encouraged. When these stratifications happen, let them be a natural occurrence based on their own volition. This is the imperative and central challenge to a democracy as diverse as our.

Politicians develop national appetites for class, race, culture, and gender divisions, and media corporations feed these appetites. They have 6 and 7 figure salaried chefs who are serving up heaping helpings of social and cultural conflicts, hate incitement, and race and gender agitation. These chefs have recognizable names such as Rush Limbaugh, Anne Coulter, Don Imus, Rachel Marsden, Sean Hannity, Bill Kristol, Peggy Noonan, Newt Gingrich, Pat Buchanan, and Bill O'Reilly, Jr.

They dummy down and over simplify the American populous. They create and perpetuate the dangling discords that make our democracy more and more dysfunctional everyday. We are much more than liberals and conservatives, reds and blues, or blacks and whites.

There is hope for our humanity as long as there are intellectuals, philanthropist, and peacemakers emerging like George Soros, Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Melinda Gates, Muhammad Yunus, Dr. Paul Farmer, and Dr. Jim Kim who dedicate their lives and fortunes to ending disease, poverty, conflicts and wars.
