Easiest Homemade Tomato Sauce Ever!

The ingredients you will need are:

1.) Thirty tomatoes of any kind! I usually use a combination of beef steak tomatoes, plum tomatoes, grape tomatoes and cherry tomatoes. You however can use any combination of tomatoes you want!

2.) One whole chopped onion

3.) Five garlic cloves or you can get a jar of finely minced garlic already pre chopped and add five teaspoons, or more if you would like a more garlic tasting sauce.

4.) You will need 1 tablespoon of basil either freshly chopped, or dried basil

5.) You will need 1 tablespoon of parsley either finely chopped, or dried parsley

6.) 1 tablespoon of salt and more if you feel your sauce needs it

7.) 1 tablespoon of pepper and again more if you feel your sauce needs it

8.) 1 squeezed lemon, or less if you don't like a tangy tomato sauce

9.) 2 to 3 tablespoons of olive oil

10.) 3 to 4 tablespoons of butter

11.) 2 tablespoon of sugar and more if you think the sauce needs a bit more sweetness

Directions:

Basically all you do is chop all the veggies and herbs up and toss them into a really big sauce pan or crock pot along with the oil, butter, sugar, salt, and squeezed lemon and allow the ingredients to cook down for about three to four hours on medium heat. During the three to four hours you will want to stir the ingredients together occasionally so all the ingredients combines together and doesn't stick to your crock pot or sauce pan, you will also want to see if you need to turn down your heat from medium to low because you don't want to cook your sauce to fast other wise the ingredients wont have time to mellow together making your tomato sauce more flavorful. After you have slowly cooked down all your ingredients for three to four hours, you should see a huge difference in the way the ingredients look. There should be much less water in the sauce pan, the ingredients will look slightly chucked and combined together, the sauce should be thicker, and it should look like tomato sauce. Once you feel it looks like tomato sauce, you can remove it from the heat and let the sauce cool for an hour or two and then place it in jars or serve it up over some hot fresh pasta for dinner!

I know for sure you will all love this easy homemade tomato sauce! I can tell you right now it is way better than store bought brands and is much better for you because you control what does and doesn't go into it! I really hope you guys really enjoy this homemade tomato sauce recipe as much as I did!
