Poetry: In this world

Harsh World

Am I dreaming?

Is this a nightmare?

The birds aren't singing

No one can feel or care

Their words are harsh and cruel

My walls are falling apart

This pain breaks all the rules

Loved ones stomp on my heart

I wish I could lie down and die

I hate being the only one that is kind

Let me tear out my tear filled eyes

Let me fade away for no one to find

Today I am all alone in the world
