Poetry: Trees

by Ryan Cruz

Created on: September 29, 2008

How do you do,
on this wonderful day,
Until you answer,
I will stay.

How do you do,
I ask you this,
I will not,
wave my fist.

How do you do,
this afternoon,
how do you feel,
happy as an eel?

I ask again,
How do you do,
why won't you answer,
dearest tree are you true?
