This question is almost an exercise in legality. What was His life but a love story? The fact that he had no physical union is not a hard thing to explain. How could there be such a thing can you just imagine the consequences it would fester if there were an offspring? God in all His wisdom supplied a lineage because He gave His promise and He cannot lie. But for Jesus to have a child would be too much for man to envision. How long do you think it would take them to start worshiping the progeny? Moses was gone 40 days and a golden calf was erected, man is not known for his religious conviction.
To not have known the embrace of a woman is hardly the fact. At His mother's breast is the most intimate of all expressions of love, that of mother and child. Can you not feel love for a friend, family member, God without the introduction of sexual desire? I should hope so; to introduce the idea of such thing would be far from God's natural plan. Would we be so caught up in our own importance so much to think our physical experience would surpass the love of our Savior to us? And for Him to not experience it would somehow make Him incomplete?
Jesus came to earth to establish His church among other things, not the Catholic, Protestant, Methodist, Luthern, and so on. These are all manifestations of man in their desire to do it their way, an ideal that has plagued us since the Garden of Eden. We want to put our twist on things and improve on what God has said by our interpretations, rules and regulations. Paul said it all in Galatians 1:6-10 and I quote from the NIV version.
I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!
Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.
In answer to the question I would have to say emphatically NO!
Having said that I rest my case but leave you with one more thought.
Matthew 7:13 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
