Poetry: The Earth

by Ryan Cruz

Created on: September 29, 2008

There are many dying sounds,
still heard today,
and what those screams are,
the world in dismay.

Scientist grow more knowledge,
leaders grow more greedy,
sickness grows more deadly,
everyone is needy,

Wars rage on,
in other lands,
joining in,
is not so grand.

Poisoned fools,
with weapons too,
have become,
a big fat clue.

The world is aching,
breaking,
shaking,
she might even fall apart!

So if you care,
you may dare,
to find a away,
to save the day...

Don't let us die.
