Testimonies: How working at home changed my life

Working from home can be a hard choice to make and it is often scary when you think about it. This decision can also be one of the most rewarding that you can ever do. If you take the time and find out what you want and what you need in your working from home experience.

When I started on the work at home journey, I was full of optimism and fear. These are often what people feel when they work at home and deal with the realities that come with it. I was excited about the idea of controlling my own work and the thought of dealing with only people that I chose to. I also remember how I just knew that I would make loads of money while I was sitting in my living room with my children. This is not the reality of working from your home.

What I found when I started working from my home was that it was not all sunshine and rainbows. It takes work to get a business going and to keep it going. You have to have a plan and you have to be willing to work, or you won't get anywhere in the end. I worked very hard in the beginning and maybe a little more than I thought I was going to have to. I burned out fast on what I was doing and needed to take a minute to see what it was that I really wanted and how to really get there. Once I did that things started to turn around.

I started going for the goals that I had wanted in the first place and it really did change my life. I found something that I love as well as a career that I can keep going with. Right now I am a writer and I feel that I will do anything to stay at home with my kids and continue to write. There are many rejections, but that is a part of the life of a freelance writer. Once you know what you want and give all you can to do it, you will find that great life and you will be happy while you are doing it.

I started writing more for myself then other people and have found that it's really in the area of what I want to do. I still write for a few people, but I mostly do it for my own income and financial freedom. If you are willing to do what it takes to get there, you can do anything and should do what makes you happy as a person. To many people give up on what they love and do what is expected of them. This can be a hard choice when you have other people that you have to consider, but if you have the chance to do it, you should and see what happens. Trying and failing is better then not ever trying and never knowing what could have been.
