My tale of a mouse rescue begins with a miracle. This story is an amazing journey of how one mouse's life portray's a true miracle. May you be intrigued and enlightened for years to come by this miracle of life!

One day I went to the local pet store to get some dog food and on my way towards the dog food isle, something caught my eye. There was a little mouse in a little cage up on the shelf of the small animal department. I was drawn over to him as my intuition led me to find out more information about him.

As I talked to one of the employees, I soon learned that he was a rescue mouse who had had a traumatic start in life. His previous owner's child had dropped him and without seeking a veterinarian's attention, they decided to return him to the pet store where they got him and walked away. Fortunately this reliable pet store would not let this poor little mouse suffer. The pet store had him seen by a vet immediately.

This little rescue mouse went through two surgeries to help correct his back from the terrible fall. With a strong will to live, the mouse survived both surgeries and was on his road to recovery. Now fully recovered the mouse sat in his cage both day and night as people just walked by him. Now and again people would ask about him and when they heard he had a couple of scars from previous surgeries and saw his back was shaved, they quickly turned away and left him unnoticed.

Tears filled my eyes as I listened to this miracle of life and right then and there I picked the little guy up, kissed his head and told the employee he now has a forever home with me. I named him Miracle as he truly is a miracle of life.

I took him home and the bond between us soon bacame inseparable. My little Miracle is the most amazing mouse I have ever had. He knows he was rescued and now has a forever home with such unconditional love. I hope this story will inspire other individuals to rescue and adopt animals in need as the feeling of fulfillment is indescribable. Life with Miracle has opened my heart and soul to believe that we can do anything we set our minds to. A creature as small as a mouse went through two surgeries and survived. The power of his will to live should teach us as humans to cherish each day and fight for our lives. I have learned so much from Miracle and have gain some of the greatest wisdom of all time from him. He is my hero and I look up to him each and every day. Open your heart and you will find your rescue miracle to share with the world today!
