Why you should lose weight

WHY YOU SHOULD LOSE WEIGHT

I think this is a rather stupid title for an article, but then I didn't choose it! I will tell you this. I am NOT going to tell you why YOU SHOULD LOSE WEIGHT. I will, however, tell you why you should examine your reasons why you should WANT to lose weight.

Everyone has to want to lose the weight for themselves. It won't happen otherwise. I can tell you that you need to lose weight, your doctor can tell you that you need to lose the weight, but unless YOU want to lose the weight, it is never going to happen. I know, I have been there, have been in your shoes. You see, I've lost a total of sixty five pounds so far, and by far, have not seen the light at the end of that tunnel yet. I've a ways to go yet. It's a constant battle to get the weight off. It's not easy, to lose weight.

Now, why should you do it? YOU SHOULD DO IT FOR YOURSELF! Don't do it for your husband, or anyone else. Do it for yourself, first and foremost, then do it for other reasons. This should be your number one reasons. You have GOT to love yourself before anyone else will love you, so start NOW. Look in a mirror and decide once and for all, that you are going to do this one thing for yourself. It will be a change that will affect your health, and your body. It will make you feel so much better!

If you lose the weight you will be able to do more things with your kids. You will be able to get out and play with them, go for walks, play games. If you are heavy like I have been, your kids may be ashamed to be seen with you. I've been there, believe me. I know how it feels to be hurt by your kids reactions to being seen in public with you. It hurts, I know. Your kids will be so proud of you when you start to lose that weight! It will be motivation in itself when you start to see the look on their faces!

When you can start to walk steps without having a stroke, that will also be motivation! After losing the weight, I can now walk to the store and I now walk 3 miles a day. If I miss my daily walk, I feel dreadful! Exercise has become a daily part of my life. I feel 100% better than I did six months ago!

If you lose weight you will be able to breathe better! No more huffing and puffing when you walk, or when you go up and down steps! That extra weight takes a lot of energy out of you! You will be amazed at how much extra energy you will have! So, have I given you enough reasons to lose that weight yet? It may take time, depending on how much extra weight you are carrying aroundI have/had about one hundred pounds I had to lose, but I'm almost there, with 65 pounds lost already. As I mentioned in the beginning though, I can't tell you WHY you should lose the weight, only YOU can honestly do an inventory, and tell yourself why you should or shouldn't lose the weight!
