Julia
You.
Such a comedian,
Always making our sides split;
Laughing.
Such a big, happy heart!
So young.
Beloved friend;
You.
Remember?
Grade two,
Brought me a get well note,
On my birthday,
Me-hit in the face
With a hockey puck
At P.E.
Made me smile
Despite.
Then.
Horror.
Shock.
How could you be gone?
So alive.
Not even a decade old.
You just got your hair cut;
The cute bob style,
Only to be burried in the earth.
Christmas tree lights
Blurred through my tears.
I was young;
How to understand?
The drunk driver.

Poetry: Death of a loved one
by Judi B
Heaven Has My Hero Now
Heaven has my hero now,
My life with you is gone.
It's changed in oh, so many ways
But yet continues
"Never"
(In Loving Memory
For my Tattooed Queen)
Taken away before your time,
The debt paid before the crime,
Left but never
The Long Wait
The leaves fell down
Upon the autumn grass;
Frailty in every shade of red...
I sat by the window for a closer
Not a day goes by that I don't think of you
Neither sunrise nor sunset that I don't hear your voice
Or miss your laugh
And
Lights shine off in the distance
Nothing but blackness appears
There is resistance
Death whispers in my ear
He talks of a life
