This song is for anybody that has ever felt scared that they are being used, confused by another's actions, or frustrated by the lack of consideration exhibited by their alleged lover. It can feel like the end of the world, so I call this Supernova, the name given to a dying star. (Twin stars are two stars drawn together by gravity that spin around one another, getting nowhere).
Supernova
I need you
You love me
What a messed up
Dichotomy
I suffer
You stew
What am I, now,
Supposed to do?
Chorus:
We're just a couple of twin stars
We run in circles but, don't get far.
All this twisting is making me dizzy
Makes me wonder, where we are.
I can feel you
Slowly slipping away.
You can feel me
Not wanting to stay...
Together. Forever.
Had such a pleasant ring.
Now it sounds like a path I wish I had passed.
...Makes me start to question everything.
We're just a couple of twin stars.
We run in circles but, don't get far.
All this twisting is making me dizzy
Makes me wonder, where we are.
Bridge:
I know that we can get through this
Upon this star, I wistfully wish...
We regain our focus upon one another
Before our stars begin to Supernova.
You and I are just a couple, of twin stars
Trying to fight gravity, we won't get far.
All of this spinning is making me dizzy
Almost makes me wonder, where we are.
