A Mighty Warrior Be
Why is it that we always hurt those we love the most?
It's easier, to strangers, give a toast,
Than to get real,
And tell those we love how we feel.
Superficial conversations,
Need to take a vacation.
It's time to take off our masks,
And in the Son bask.
You never know when life will end,
So surround yourselves with loving friends.
We are all here for a reason,
So accept that and embrace this season.
Live life full of love,
Pointing up above.
Be a light upon a hill,
And with salt, this world, fill.
As witnesses grow strong,
Though the days grow long.
Cling to eternal hope,
Let it be your safety rope.
With a watchful eye,
On the sky,
Be alert and discern,
Watch for the day of His return.
And until then,
His name defend.
Guard your heart.
Don't let the world tear it apart.
A mighty warrior be,
For Christ who saved you and me.

he seems a simple fleck of dust in the past
He's different
he stands out from the others.

I am a rose amongst many
Fighting a war of survival
Weeds will march upon my ground

Whispering in the ever present dusk
My pale skin shines like crystal in the soft starlight
Silky hair glows smooth as glass
A warrior...
To fight for what is just and true.
A warrior...
To stand as a hero among the people.
A warrior...
To face death
