This recipe for quiche is quick, healthy and satisfying.
You will need the following:
8 eggs
4 slices of ham
garlic powder
4 slices of low salt Swiss cheese
1 frozen box of broccoli
1 pint heavy cream
salt and pepper to taste
Already made pie shell
In a large pot, boil water. Once water boils, drop in the broccoli. Add salt and turn heat on medium. You will know when it's done by sticking a fork through. It should be nice and soft.
Meantime as the broccoli is boiling, take a large bowl. Add in eggs and begin to beat them. Next add in your heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, pepper.
When the broccoli is done, drain and set aside.
Take your cheese and ham and place on top of each other. Now with a sharp knife, begin to slice lengthwise and than begin to slice the ham and cheese so it is diced now into little pieces.
Take your ham and cheese and place on the bottom of the pie crust. Now take your broccoli and do the same, placing it on top of the ham and cheese.
Take your egg mixture and pour on top. Turn the oven on to 350 degrees and bake for 45 minutes. You will know when the Quiche is done by sticking a toothpick in the center.
