The solution to boostimg employee performance is actually quite simple given my long work history. Giving employees praise is one of the most important, it helps give the employees a sense of appreciation. Also, rewards and prizes will always bring out the best in employees, it will help them achieve higher goals and set higher standards. Honestly, who would want to work for a company that doesn't appreciate your work value. This will give the employees a reason to slack a little instead of trying to be the best they can be at their job.

Working at a department store, it was easy to feel underappreciated. The comapny however, came up with unique reward systems to help the employees strive for excellence. For example, employees who opened new accounts, got to draw from money jars the number of new accounts they opened for the day. This would give anyone a little incentive to try a little bit harder. Thinking about the cash you can accumulate in one day helps light a fire under your butt. They also had a star program where you could reach gold, silver, platinum, ruby and diamond. With each star level, their was an incentive like a gift card or an extra day off. These are both reward type of motivation for the employees to have a reason to work hard. The simple approach for making an employee feel appreciated is giving them praise. Telling a worker they did a good job gives them a sense of accomplishment. This is one of the most simple rewards you can give to an employee. Having a sense of worth in a company, will make an employee feel good about coming to work on a daily basis. If you are a leader, you have to give your employees motivation and be the one to boost their work quality.

Overall, there are many unique methods of boosting employee work performance. Learning how to be the best boss you can be will help employees be the best they can be. Giving them praise and incentives will help them benefit as well. If they have a reason to work hard then they will automatically do so. Being a boss means being the leader, and the leader is the one who has to motivate.
