You can find amazing deals on discount shoes anywhere in the US. Now my idea of a good deal consists of getting the best high-end style for the lowest price. The best place for you to start is your local shops and my second choice is the internet. If you are a shoe lover you know that the opportunity to find a great deal is always out there. However, if you buy shoes only out of necessicity you will probably go to one place and that's it. And I am certain the last thing on your mind is am I going to get a good deal. For my fellow shoe lovers here are the top strategies I have.

First, shop locally if you can. I know some small towns in the US have very limited shops. Go to a near by town if you can. I say this because I am a strong believer that as a member of any town it is extremely important to support your local economy. I am certain you work in your hometown, so in turn support the local owners and employees that work in the shops. They too have to buy shoes.

The best choices for retail shops are the discount stores and warehouse shoe stores, like DSW, TJ Maxx, or Marshall's. By far, the best place to get amazing deals is at the seasonal clearance sales at the major department stores, such as Dillard's, Macy, Neiman Marcus or Nordstrom. DSW, or any warehouse shoe store is a great place to get discounts on current seasonal shoes. However, like I mentioned the big department stores have the major clearances for each season and that is the best way to get deep discounts on shoes.

The key to the department store shops is to make friends with one if not more of the sale associates in the shoe department. They will be sure to let you know when they are ready to clear out the old for the new. From experience, I have purchased numerous shoes for a great price at these events. For example I remember buying 5 pairs of high-end shoes for the price of one non-sale priced shoe. According to my math that is an amazing deal. A deal you can't beat with a stick.

Now I know what some of you maybe thinking at this moment is I don't want to buy something that is going out of style. To that I say "pish-posh". Shoes of great style never go out of style. You may only be able to where them a few times before the season ends, but you will be able to come back to them year after year. I have shoes that I have purchased 5 or 6 years ago and still wear occasionally today. It never fails, that someone will compliment me on them. The question always comes out "Oh, where did you get those?" When I joyful say I bought them a couple years ago, the look of sadness befalls them because they know they will be unable to get the same pair. So don't fear the great end of the season discounts. They are the best.

Now if you must shop online. I know that there are plenty of deals that you can find. The sites that I have looked at and thought these are really good deals are QVC.com, Shoes.com, or Zappos.com. I usually do a general search for a particular type of shoe and then go from there. I know that there are a lot of online shoppers, but that isn't my cup of tea. I do it occasionally, but like I said if I can I will buy it locally.

Overall, a great deal on shoes in the US can be easily discovered as long as you a point of reference. Take on the challenge of finding your deals locally and you will be able to walk away with a great deal in hand. Have a great time.
