I love apple pie, warm with ice cream to top it off, not many people don't adore it. I made this recipe one Thanksgiving and everyone liked it so I will share it with you.

Ingredients include: 8 granny smith apples(diced); 1/2 cup brown sugar; 1/2 cup white sugar, a pinch of salt, 2 tablespoons of butter; Pillsbury prepared dough, Graham cracker crust, table spoon of cinnamon, 1/2 cup orange juice, 1 egg.

STEP ONE: beat 1 egg in a small bowl, set aside. In a pot, add butter, apples, orange juice, sugars and cinnamon and salt. on low heat allow apples to caramelize - this will take about 10 minutes.

STEP TWO: Turn heat off and add all ingredients into the pie crust. Spread evenly.

STEP THREE: Now fold the dough over the top of the apples. Score and pinch the sides in. Place in a baking dish so your oven is protected from any spills. Take your egg wash and gently brush over the dough. Bake at 350 for about an hour or until pie dough is brown.
