Her Secret

His hair was as soft as a kitten,
His eyes were green like the stem of a rose.
They twinkled like a star,that could light up a whole room.
His lips were smooth and soft,
yet masculine and demanding.
As I lay before him I felt my power raise to join his,
mine leaving me defenseless and weak.
I didn't care for I knew this was the man I'd love forever.
We were planning a trip where lovers went,
but we weren't going there just as lovers.
We were also going as friends.
Our love was like no other.
It was built on a lifetime of trust and honesty.
Not like some I had, had before his.
We had always been together and I knew we would always be together never parting,
for if we ever departed from each other I knew there would never be another for me.
