Recipes: Barbecue sauce

You like a particular flavor a barbecue sauce but, your spouse finds it too spicy? You can fix this with one easy step. Here's how!

Pour the entire bottle of sauce in a bowl or container.
- If you do not intend on using the entire bottle today use some kind of container you can put in fridge without spilling/drying out.

Take the container of brown sugar and tablespoon - Add approximately one rounded spoonful of brown sugar

- Stir thoroughly (I sometimes use a whisk)
Check for taste if you can still taste the bite but, it is weaker you probably have enough brown sugar.
- The idea is to take out some of the bite without covering the flavor
of the sauce you like.

Apply to your food as you normally would
- Keep some in reserve for dipping if you prefer

Enjoy the sauce while your spouse enjoys the sweetness without the spicy bite!

The less brown sugar the more you retain the flavor
The more brown sugar the more you sweeten it, while retaining some of the flavor
Be sure to mix thoroughly
Keep it your little secret and she will love you for it!
If you dip meat into sauce to cover set some off to the side for reserve
Avoid using too much brown sugar
If you dip your raw meat into sauce do not store in fridge dispose of left overs to avoid contamination
Do not forget to change utensils if you're using to dip meat into sauce!
