Some think it's by choice
they don't understand.
What do they think,
that I chose to like men?
Should I be straight
should I be gay?
I think I will choose
to be gay today.
It's in our hearts,
it's not our choice.
I wish they would listen
to our words not our voice.

Protest me
You can't call him 'Gay'
He was left by the roadside
Battered and afraid
Born homosexual
Not a choice that he made
