This is a topic that has plagued mankind for generations, since the cavemen days to the twenty first century. Husbands are expected to provide for their families while their wives are expected to clean the home and take care of the children. This sexist idea of what a husband and wife should do, has been passed down from the beginning of time. It's now time to wake up and smell the coffee. This is a different time era and husbands have a husbandly duty to help his wife.
The reason why husbands should do housework is because they are more than capable of doing so. For thousands of years, women have cleaned after their men and treated them like kings. If you are married, to me, I would think the husbands would treat their wives like queens. Some wives work more than men in my opinion, whether they have full-time jobs or are homemakers. Cleaning the house, taking care of the kids, working and everything in between, could become a huge load for one person to carry alone. Not only is it overwhelming but it is very tiresome. Why not help ease the load and keep a balance in your marriage and relationship. Husbands should learn to appreciate their wives and help to keep her happy and feeling like a queen everyday. Men should automatically know when their wives are tired and just need the support from him to step it up and help out. This is the twenty first century and women are very independent and many bring home bigger salaries then their husbands. Their are now many non-traditional women that may not want to cook and clean all the time and instead of serving men, they want men to serve them.
When you are in a marriage, you have to be partners. Sometimes partners split duties so one doesn't have to be on overload. This is a new day and age, create your own rules to your relationship. It isn't masculine or feminine to want to be clean or have a clean house. The youth of today need guidance to see that it's alright for a man to cook and clean. It gives them an idea not to have sexist views of manly and womanly duties. If it needs to be done somebody's got to do it, so husbands should know to help their wives with housework. A good husband or wife would know to help each other. If you're lucky you might get one that wants you to offer to help, and be so moved that she does all the work anyway. The world can handle more men doing housework and cleaning up after their family. Bottom line, men can cook and clean so they should.
