My love for Jesus, Only LORD,
was started in my youth,
When learned at first His Holy WORD,
He saved me through this Truth.

The Living Word of God in Three,
for years He in Person taught,
He lived that through His Life we'd see,
restored Hope He had brought.

The Gospel Word in many, few,
The Bible, whole and part,
Can touch the core and make each new,
His Hope can fall, like rain!

Throughout The Scripture Text is seen,
The Gospel once again,
The Garden's tree of death has been,
defeated by Christ's win!

Two trees that stand as witness poles,
both point us to the LORD,
One tree created hearts so cold,
the other life by Word!

Now, let this Hope be in your heart,
that when He comes again,
Your Praises will most quickly start,
Believers saved from sin!

But if you need to trust Him now,
then pray affirmingly,
"I thank You, LORD, in Death's cold bow,
You died for all to free,
"Were three days laid, arose, and now,
You sit in Victory!"
