Poetry: Forbidden

by Kate Miller

Created on: September 24, 2008

I want you because you're dangerous;
I want you because you're bad
I want you to be the very worst I've ever had
I want to play with fire
'cause I'm not afraid of scars
and you want to play with desire
because a kiss will never marr
I had a dream about you,
painting everything red
And you couldn't do it without me,
at least that's what you said.
So now you know I want you,
things must come to a head...
We're forbidden, it's a crime
But haven't the greatest of lovers broken rules throughout time?
