There are necessities in this world that you have to put your money towards. Like school education, food & drink consumption. Continuous expenses like electricity, water, mortgage or rent and travel. This is not even including insurances for material assets and your own well being. I mean these days the air you breathe ain't even free in some countries.
Over the years I have learnt that even the richest people in this world can be broke the very next day through bad decisions and actions, lack of knowledge and scams. And for someone who appears to be wealthy, actually don't even own their homes, cars or boats. They just have a higher paying job then most and are able to get a higher lending credit. This is called being Asset Rich and Cash Poor. Technically it is the bank who owns it, which means they still have to pay a lot of money over a certain period of time before it can be officially theirs outright.
A big problem for the majority of today's society when it comes to losing their hard earned money is called Emotional Spending. You hear typical stereo type females who just love shopping. They might have a bad day or want to celebrate an event by shopping. Trolling the mall for those perfect outfits that they already have more than the average person of, or the distraught wife who has found out that her husband has had an affair. What does she do, take the hubbies credit card for a spending spree before she takes everything else through child support and a divorce settlement.
Then there are the advertisements and promotions that throw out simple but effective words that get you in the right spot emotionally to race into the stores and buy. It is like an adrenaline rush from seeing something, to driving there hoping that what ever it is you want is still there, and madly trying to find a parking space, so you can get out of your car and go shopping. Or just for a little extra to buy it via the internet and have it delivered to your door step.
Gambling is an interesting issue regarding people easily losing their money and more likely than not they will walk away with nothing than becoming an actual winner. For some people this can even become an addiction where their entire week's wages is flushed down the toilet by sitting at the slot machines or gambling tables. All financial problems, family wellbeing are temporarily on hold until they leave the building.
But don't forget the lottery that appear on television every week for the average person who have purchased
