In spite of all the drugs or pharmaceuticals you may choose for heartburn as I have experienced, they are only offer temporary relief of heartburn and acid reflux.
To obtain a complete cure you may wish to reduce acidic drinks and foods such as coffee and some acidic juices which include orange juice.

This combination happens to be what most people drink first in the morning as breakfast when your stomach is most vulnerable to acid.

In my family history my father and brother suffered from ulcers and ultimately I was prey to the same stomach problems perhaps with sensitivity to acidic foods and liquids.
I tried most drugs the Peptic products, Tums, Zantac and others and had to keep taking these drugs with a continuation of the same problems. Acid which caused the pain and burning continued to cause distress until I discovered a more natural remedy which worked like a charm. Years ago this heartburn which can cause stomach ulcers resulted in the removal of parts of your stomach, which is a drastic measure when considering curing this problem naturally.

Aloe Vera is mixed with a fruit juice and I found mango juice works best since it is lower in acid content and with the flavor makes a deliciously refreshing drink. I took it daily with one part aloe Vera gel and 3 parts juice for 30 days, and the pain went away for good.
The benefits of aloe Vera gel or juice is a wonder and so effective because not only does it work but it does not have any side effects. I used the gel since it is thicker and stays in the stomach longer working its way to heal my stomach lining. As aloe works to heal sunburns on the outside of your body it also is very effective on the inside taking internally and with no side effects.

Benefits of Aloe Vera for Heartburn

The reason aloe Vera works is because it is made of mucopolyscacharides a big name to say which is a smaller molecule that has anti-inflammatory properties. This ingredient and others work to heal and reduce the inflammation inside your stomach. Aloe Vera was first discovered in the 1800's by a German in Egypt who found it written about on a clay tablet in excavated tomb. Aloe Vera was also found to be a beauty treatment for Egyptian queens such as Cleopatra and Nefertiti.

The aloe plant is known to have over 75 ingredients that are beneficial to the human body from enzymes to vitamins it is a very powerful plant with no chemical additives.

How to Avoid Heartburn

The simple way to avoid heartburn is to avoid the causes which are high acid content drinks and a look at your diet. Increasing your fiber intake will help to avoid heartburn, which would include more whole wheat breads, eating apples, and berries that are high in fiber. The introduction of high fiber vegetables like broccoli and the spinach family greens are also going to help the causes of your heartburn. These foods will bind to the acid in your stomach and their alkaline content will reduce the burning in your stomach including digestive acids.

Introducing these foods slowly into your diet but not all at once will help your body handle acidity in a very short time span. Also coupled with a higher fiber diet you should drink more water to flush the fiber and reduce gas or bloating. A higher fiber diet also benefits colon problems in the right balance a diet change can cure your own heartburn.

Aloe Vera taken orally will cure your stomach problems and eliminate the pain quickly and is more economical than buying drugs which only treat the symptoms rather than the causes of heartburn.
