Poetry: Memories of you

We were hugging and fighting
Loving and hating
Smiling and crying
But it was every one of these things that made me realize
It made me realize why I loved you
It's what made me happy
That was then and this is now
The calls decreased
I never see you anymore
We are not the same as we were before
You said your final goodbye and shut the door
Now you're gone and my heart's deceased
Now all I have left to remember you by
Is this single tear drop in my eye
