Acting is a very unpredictable career. We have seen actors and actresses who had been on top of the stardom for a certain time but their shine vanished and now they are just a part of the movie industry's history. However, there are also successful actors and actresses who had been in the movie industry since they were kids and they retained their stardom until their old days.

Nobody could tell you what would happen in your career as an actor. Maybe you are popular today but who knows what will happen tomorrow? Some people like your manager or some producers could help you to be in the top spot but the outcome of your career would greatly depend on yourself. So you need to be careful with your decisions and you need to be cautious with every word that comes out of your mouth since they could make or break your career.

CONTINUE ENHANCING YOUR SKILLS

You may be the best actor in your area but it doesn't have to end there. You should never be too confident with your skill since acting is an ever improving business. A lot of new things are added in the film industry to maintain its existence and you as an actor needs to conform to the changes.

There are acting classes available in most areas and you need to enroll in one of these. Or if you are really good enough, you may apply as an instructor and teach aspiring actors since you would still learn from different people. Engaging in acting lessons would also broaden your connections as you would be meeting many other actors and actresses as well as directors and producers that could help increase your avenues for showing off your talents through these connections.

BE VERSATILE

You may have entered show business as a drama actor. You may have been enjoying the role for many years now. But what if there would come a time when action movies become in demand? What will happen to your career?

It is best for an actor to be versatile in his roles. He should always be open for different roles in a movie since this would not just test his skills but it would help him improve his talents more as he becomes exposed in different acting situations. Many producers and directors want versatile actors for the reason that most movies nowadays are a combination of different movie genre so you would have an edge if you know how to act different roles.

MANAGE YOUR MONEY WELL

Some actors had become comfortable with making acting as their main source of income. This is a very wrong thing to do since nobody knows what's going to happen
