'Photographic Session'
'Bring those costumes, come with me
-don't worry now, it's all for free'.
I follow him through the camera shop,
up creaking stairs, right to the top.
'Being local, you will know
about the ghost that walks below?'
That really makes me feel at ease
-oh help! Just let me out now please!
'You can change behind that screen,
I'll be back soon - this needs a clean'.
I choose the turquoise, low-cut dress
-oh, my hair, it's such a mess!
I wonder what I have to do?
This modelling lark is all so new.
I sit down on the black chaise-longue,
I don't know, this feels all wrong.
I catch myself in the mirrored glass
- now there's a sultry looking lass!
Spot lights shine, the camera clicks,
'Flick your hair! Now pout those lips.
Hold it there - now turn back quick!'
I change my outfit, ready for more,
then he comes back through the door...
'Well, here we are, let's make a start,
just stand natural on this mark'.
I didn't know just what to think
- perhaps he'd had a little drink!
Next day I go back to the shop,
he seems bemused at many shots.
The photos that we like the most
must have been taken by the ghost!
Or, maybe, it had been his son
who'd duped us both & had some fun!

Photographs of you.
It was only one of many photographs,
In an old shoe box that I found,
One that I had forgotten all

Photographs tell tales of moments in time.
They make you laugh and think of when we were
all silly, happy and content. Moments
Half A Photograph -
Today I found half a photograph
It’s torn edges uneven and frayed
There I stood with a smile on
by Bob Mundle
The Camera Never Lies
I am the embalmer.
Subsumed by darkness,
The seditious daylight turned away,
Sealed behind thick drapes
by Jim Huckabee
Photographs upon my mantel
Time frozen-only for a moment.
A blink in the span we call life.
They carry me back to a place
