A way past in time both my wife and I had been acquainted with a strange fellow called Casper Milquetoast. The roly-poly chap in his middle years had a peculiar way of entering into a conversation. It seemed that he had a habit of remembering a witty saying of a an anecdote and only when the subject of the confab reached the subject akin to his saying or joke he would burst out with words to an accolade of laughs of compliments; the rest of the time he would keep quiet just waiting his chance to pop in. Then one day he came across the knowledge that "'Peanuts' are one of the ingredients of dynamite". But alas and alack the word 'peanut' wasn't mentioned and for a week or two he didn't partake in any going conversations. Until the evening when he sat at a bar among a group of fellows and the cute little waitress served them their ordered drinks. Then they were served a bowl full of peanuts which gave him the opportunity to utter his knowledge, but no, as the charming little darling serving them said to the group quite sweetly "Here are some peanuts for a nosh, but beware they might be explosive!' And to the horror of the chap she explained with a lilting laughter that peanuts are used in making dynamite.
